Practice Philosophy
My name is Dr. LoPresti and I am an Internal medicine Physician with a deep passion for providing compassionate, comprehensive care. In an age where healthcare has become increasingly fragmented and impersonal, I have chosen a different path—one that prioritizes meaningful relationships, individualized attention, and true healing. I practice internal medicine through house calls, Telemedicine and flexible office hours, bringing care directly to my patients' homes where they are most comfortable and where I can truly see and treat the whole person. Throughout my years of training and experience, I have seen how the current healthcare system—especially one driven largely by insurance reimbursements—can limit the quality of care a physician can provide. Appointments are rushed, paperwork overshadows patient interaction, and patients often overwhelmed by bureaucracy, feel like just another number. In order to give my patients, the time and attention they deserve, I have made the deliberate decision not to accept insurance. This model allows me to focus entirely on the person in front of me without the constraints of billing codes, pre-authorizations, and hurried visits. My practice is built on transparency, accessibility, and trust. By offering house calls, I provide convenience and peace of mind for patients who may have difficulty traveling to a traditional clinic due to age, mobility issues, chronic illness, or busy lives. I am able to spend as much time as necessary—whether that’s thirty minutes or two hours—truly listening, assessing, and partnering with my patients on their health journey. This is medicine the way it was meant to be practiced—slow, deliberate, thoughtful, and centered on the individual. It is a model that reflects my values as a physician and my belief that patients deserve care that is personal, not transactional.
